Summit United Methodist Church is an inclusive congregation open to all people who are moved by the Holy Spirit to seek to commune with, and grow from the experience of God revealed through Jesus Christ. This means we accept married, divorced, and single persons; young and old; gay and straight; people of all races and nations; the rich and poor, and in between; the mentally advantaged and disadvantaged; and the hurting and the well.
We are a diverse, and welcoming congregation that originated as a merger between The OSU Wesley Foundation, Indianola Church, and University Church in 1976. Even though most of our members live in the suburbs, we also have urban and student participants.
