GROW. Growing in our Giving. Week 3 – 9/21 – Pastor April’s Sermon – TRUST

About 3 ½ years ago, just before Marcus’ first birthday, I was taking some much needed time away. Marcus and I had flown out to Arizona to see my sister, and she had volunteered to take Marcus for a few hours while I did, amazingly, whatever I wanted.   To be honest, during the first […]

Last month, I spent a few days in the mountains of Colorado, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. After a great visit with my brother, I headed back to Denver for a conference I was going to attend. I needed to grab lunch on my way, but being unfamiliar with the area and having made a decision […]

GROW. Growing in our Relationships with Others – Week 2 – 7/13 – Pastor April’s Sermon

In the last half of 2012, across the street at the Wexner Center, there was an extraordinary exhibit on display by one of the greatest contemporary photographers. GROW. Growing in Sharing Faith – Week 4 – 6/29 – Pastor April’s Sermon

GROW. Growing in Sharing Faith – Week 3 – 6/22 – Pastor April’s Sermon

This past week, I was talking with a good friend of mine who just recently moved away. The move was largely because of her husband’s work and so, for the past month, she has been looking for work.   And she described to me the new rhythms of her day. Getting up early on the […]

GROW. Growing in Sharing Faith – Week 1 – 6/8 – Pastor April’s Sermon

The Resurrection happened and for 40 days afterward, the disciples were processing and understanding what had happened. Jesus continued to appear to them during this time and it seems that each time more and more of the story was starting to make sense.   He wouldn’t be staying for long – and that it would now […]
