Choir rehearsals are Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m plus Sunday mornings before worship, at 9:15 a.m. We particularly value a regular commitment (Thursdays and Sundays). Music Ed students, we offer opportunities to conduct as well as to sing.

If you can't make Thursday rehearsals, you are still welcome to come along at 10:00 am on Sundays to get on board with the hymns and choruses that we will be singing that day.

Play an instrument? We love to include instruments of all types in worship at Summit, from guitar to didgeridoo. Let us know what you play and we will get you involved.

Music students and others are welcome to book Summit for use as a recital space. Call Cheryl Ziegler in the office, tel 614.291.3324 to check availability.

People from all musical backgrounds are invited to join in music-making at Summit, as choir members, instrumentalists, or members of the congregation. At Summit we do a wide variety of music, from traditional hymns to African praise songs, classical to contemporary. Choir, organ, drums, guitars, piano, vocals, and a cappella singing are all a regular part of worship music. Join us!

Summit also welcomes a wide variety of musical guests to perform in worship. Guests for 2010 - 11 include Illuminati (sacred music group from the Columbus Gay Men's Chorus), Meghan Western (dancer and choreographer), the Columbus Women's Chorus, the Columbus Women's Drum Chorus, and Columbus Sacred Harp Singers.
