No matter where we find ourselves, God's love reaches us and reorients our lives toward what truly matters.

God Sets Our Heads on Straight

Drawing on a personal journey and a passage from Romans, the message reminds us that nothing—no height, no depth, no circumstance—can separate us from the love of God. Through vivid storytelling and reflection on unlikely places where God shows up, the sermon invites us to trust that God meets us exactly where we are, even in the most isolated or overwhelming moments of life.

The heart of the message is that faith is not a list of rules or a system of superstition, but an encounter with a God who reorients us—setting our heads on straight—and calls us beloved children. Every moment holds the potential for that encounter, and choosing to recognize God's presence in the ordinary is itself an act of worship that carries lasting, inner transformation.

  • Nothing can separate us from the love of God, no matter our circumstances.
  • Faith is a living encounter with God, not a checklist or a set of superstitions.
  • Every ordinary moment is an opportunity to be reoriented by God's love and presence.
