You Are Precious and Honored in His Sight
In a world that constantly measures our value by productivity, success, and the opinions of others, the prophet Isaiah speaks a countercultural word of grace. This message explores how God addresses his people—then and now—not as burdens or failures, but as beloved, named, and precious. Long before we could earn anything, God formed us, called us by name, and desired a world with us in it. That identity cannot be taken away by an employer, a mistake, or a season of brokenness.
The sermon also wrestles honestly with the reality of suffering, acknowledging that faith does not promise a life free from fire or flood—but it does promise that we will not be consumed alone. God's faithfulness is demonstrated not in removing every hardship, but in walking through it with us.
